It's not like the Blackfeet could check into a Motel 6 every time it rained.

So between this blog, facebook, myspace, and aim it will be amazing if I actually get any work done this year. Anyway, Charlie, Christina, and I arrived Saturday after a 30 hour train ride and we were welcomed by our principle, his wife, their two adorable kids, one of our brothers, the seventh grade teacher, and one of our soon to be seventh graders. Our train arrived around 8 pm so we were just in time to see the sun start to set behind the mountains.

We have been working pretty hard at school getting ready for the year, but last night we slept in the tipi that is in our backyard. We were going to again tonight, but it is raining, wait no thunder storming outside. Brother Paul however thinks we should be out there anyway because, "It's not like the Blackfeet could check into a Motel 6 every time it rained."

Love and miss you all! Katie:)

I've heard that tipi were actually pretty waterproof. Is that not the case in reality?

Tipi's are very waterproof, but we didn't want to chance it.
